Love is so complicated. In theory, being in love sounds wonderful, but the journey to get there is so exhausting. There's another journey we could take that is way less complicated than finding love, and it's called travel. When it comes to traveling, the journey is better than the destination, and even then, the destination is pretty breathtaking too. Maybe we're using travel to escape our daily problems, but we're nor ashamed of it. If anything, it's a healthy way to take a breather. Unlike love, travel is simple. We just go where the road takes us, and we know it'll always be someplace good. Unlike our relationship with many men, our relationship with the road isn't toxic.
